Isabel is studying music performance under the direction of Dr. Ted Wylie, with an emphasis on classical vocal performance and opera literature in English, German, Italian, & French.


UPCOMING PERFORMANCES:

  • Public concert in Köpenick, presented by the Berlin Opera Academy to showcase artists in it's summer program.

    Isabel will perform "Parmi les pleurs" from Giacomo Meyerbeer's Les Huguenots, accompanied on piano by CJ Capen.

  • Visit Opernfest Berlin this summer to catch Isabel in this production of Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte!

Isabel is excited to be a part of the 31st annual Let Freedom Sing concert, honoring the life, legacy, and triumphs of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and commemorating his work pioneering the Civil Rights Movement. Joined by tenor Rodrick Dixon and poet Wisdom Wright, the Nashville Symphony, Celebration Chorus, and Celebration Youth Chorus perform an inspiring selection of classical works, songs, Traditionals and more.

"Die Zauberflöte”

Die Zauberflöte (translated as “The Magic Flute”) is described as a fairy-tale quest for love and wisdom, with lots of unexpected twists and turns. One of Mozart’s most well-known and beloved operas, this classic will be presented in the original German at Berlin’s Opernfest this summer.

Visit Opernfest Berlin this summer to catch Isabel in Die Zauberflöte, performing the role of Zweite Dame.

Izzy also performs locally in Nashville with the Black Students Alliance Choir, Belmont Chorale, CurtainsUp Belmont and The Wishes Foundation of Nashville.
She is excited to serve as the President of the Opera Club beginning Fall 2024.

When she is in her hometown of Columbus, Ohio, Isabel sings with the traditional music and chancel choirs at Trinity United Methodist Church
and serves as a guest cantor for weekend Masses and funeral Masses at St. Timothy Catholic Church.
